Aldo will speak about the medical treatments available to patients, working in partnership with pharmaceutical companies on clinical trials and his role at Myeloma Canada.
Additional Topic: The Role of Cannabis in Pain Management
Also on the agenda is a discussion of the considerations, opportunities and challenges of using cannabis as part of a pain control regimen for those living with Multiple Myeloma. In light of the upcoming legalization of marijuana in Canada, this session promises to be informative and engaging for those who want to learn more, have questions about this treatment, or would like to consider additional options for pain management.
The event will take place at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary South (135 Southland Drive SE, Calgary, AB) from 10:00am to 4:00pm. It will involve formal presentations, Q&A sessions, networking and a light lunch.
We ask that attendees RSVP by email to: education@samps.ca no later than September 15, 2018. There is no cost to attend this session.
