AL amyloidosis is a rare disease where a misfolded protein is deposited into different tissues. It can be diagnosed as an isolated entity or in association with Multiple Myeloma.
In this event, Dr. Victor Jimenez-Zepeda (Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute, University of Calgary) will discuss the essentials on the diagnosis and management of AL amyloidosis.
Challenges and exciting novel agents for its treatment will be discussed as potential factors that might impact on clinical outcomes!
