Vaccine Dosage Extension Guidelines and Exceptions

SAMPS is closely watching conversations around recommendations that the interval between the first and second COVID-19 vaccine dose be extended up to 4 months, and exceptions to this rule.

Ontario’s Ministry of Heath has released Vaccine Clinical Advisory Group (VCAG) Recommendations on Exceptions to Extended Dose Intervals for COVID-19 vaccines, and Myeloma Canada is meeting shortly on the issue.
