Myeloma Canada 5 km Greg Roberts Memorial Myeloma Walk/Run

On Sunday, September 25, the Myeloma Canada 5 km Greg Roberts Memorial Myeloma Walk/Run was held in Airdrie. Shaneika Heslop and Sandor Sajnovics from Myeloma Canada were in attendance to kick off the event. SAMPS was invited to host an information table, where Germaine Nadon, Paul Brick, Susan Brick, Barb Bockman and Tina Butz manned that station and distributed information about SAMPS and Myeloma to attendees of the Walk/Run.

It was a great success and congratulations go out to Trish Murray and her team of volunteers who worked hard to make it happen. We would like to thank everyone who supported the Walk/Run and those who helped with the information table. A huge thank-you also goes to Trish Murray for her gift of $440.00 to SAMPS to help support local Myeloma research which was presented at the end of the Walk/Run.
