Bike to Beat Myeloma Exceeds Goals
Organizers of the first-ever Myeloma Canada Ride: Bike to Beat Myeloma, including SAMPS Director Scott Beer, say the event on May 15, 2022 has exceeded its fundraising goal.
The Ride, which started at Spruce View Hall in Red Deer County, saw more than 30 cyclists raise more than $34,000, far exceeding the event’s $30,000 fundraising goal.
Nationally, Myeloma Canada raised almost $184,000, far exceeding their $100,000 fundraising goal. More than 345 cyclists took part in the inaugural Ride that also held events in the Niagara Region and Richmond, BC.
